MOLLY
Molly has established herself as one of the brightest talents to emerge from the Paris scene in recent years, combining passion, integrity and talent to launch a successful multi-faceted career. Through hard work and dedication to the art of DJing Molly has built up a sterling reputation, investing her spare time and energy into learning how to produce her own music, which has resulted in several key releases with a slew of prestigious labels. Molly also uses her critical ear to A&R, showcasing her ability to seek out and curate fresh music from a range of talented artists, new and old, via her own label. In short, she is a good natured professional all-rounder who embodies the true spirit of house and techno, excelling in every discipline she turns her hand to.
Molly’s lifelong love affair with house and techno began when she experienced club music first-hand during a trip to London. When she returned to France, she began to delve deeper into electronic music discovering a whole new world of artists, labels and records. After finishing her Masters in Communication, she picked up a permanent role at Rex Club in Paris, where she was head of the venue’s communications department and booking Department for a few years, also spearheading the launch of the club’s record label before she left to do her own thing in 2017.
Molly’s growth as a DJ has been steady and natural, fueled by an endless quest to find rare records, digging for precious material whenever she has the opportunity. This inquisitive side to her nature comes through in her diverse sets, made up of special treats uncovered during frequent digging sessions. Also evident in her DJ sets is her ability to weave together a variety of styles from sultry house to tougher techno. As a result she has been booked for gigs at clubs such as Panorama Bar & Watergate (Berlin), Space/Amnesia/ Circoloco (Ibiza), Space (Miami), Output (NYC), Robert Johnson (Frankfurt), and REX/Concrete (Paris). Alongside appearances as far afield as Japan, USA, India, Australia, Russia and South America.
Festival performances are also becoming a regular fixture in her tour diary with bookings at Weather Festival in her native France, Amsterdam Dance Event and Awakenings (Holland), Lost Village (UK), Waking Life (Portugal), Into The Factory (Sweden) Primavera Sound & Sonar (Spain), Piknic Electronik Montreal & Melbourne (Canada & Australia), Mutek (Montreal & Barcelona) , Exit Festival (Croatia), DGTL (India), Epizode (Vietnam) Crossroads (San Francisco) and many more. Each appearance demonstrating her ability to command the big stage as well as more intimate venues, as she did during her appearance on Boiler Room Paris.
Parallel to her success as a selector, Molly has channeled her love for music into production, transferring her DJ skills to the studio environment effortlessly. Releases with Giegling, RDV music, Groovement, CinCin, Yoyaku, Karlovak and more have showcased her impeccable studio skills. She also recently digged a bitter deeper into her love for deep techno and started producing under her moniker “Emeline” on AEX records.
Driven by her ambitious nature, She also performed for rare occasion on LIVE (ADE Amsterdam, Mutek festival) spreading her deep groove into her productions , playing all on a live set .
Molly initiated the launch of her own record label RDV (Recit de Voyage) in 2017. The platform is intended to allow Molly to express her vision and cement her identity as a curator on all levels, expanding her reach and utilising her core skills in another area of the industry. Since its conception, RDV has gone from strength to strength with widespread respect from her peers and idols alike. Showcasing new artists and delivering a diverse range of electronic music; from club-focused cuts to those geared towards home listening.
