DeWalta was a student of the Mannheim Academy and Hanns Eisler Music Academy in Berlin, and his repertoire spans a diverse array of genres including P-Funk, hip-hop, pop, and rock.

His early career saw him touring with classical orchestras, enriching his musical experience. DeWalta's electronic music career took off in 2007 with his debut EP "Nebelhorn." He founded his label, Meander, to promote his tech-house tracks and collaborations, notably with Canadian artist Mike Shannon. His albums, including "Wander" (2012) and "Illumination" (2014), showcase his fusion of jazz and electronic music.

Performing in over 50 countries, DeWalta is known for dynamic shows featuring live saxophone improvisations. He's played at iconic venues like Cocoon in Ibiza and Berghain in Berlin and major festivals worldwide. During the 2020 pandemic, he expanded into online teaching and music engineering, working with DJs like Luciano and Seth Troxler.
